About Line Links
Line Links is a free online line puzzle you can play in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Every board has pairs of glowing dots. Press a dot and drag to draw a rounded neon tube to its partner. Lines cannot cross, and the board is only solved when every pair is joined and every single cell is filled. There is nothing to download and no sign-up, and the game remembers your stars and coins on your device.
Every board in Line Links has exactly one solution. A generator builds each board from a random path that covers the whole grid, and a solver then proves that there is only one way to finish it before the board is allowed into the game. That means you never have to guess: every board can be worked out by logic, and a stuck moment always has a reason you can find. The same check is repeated by the automated tests on every shipped level and on a hundred daily boards.
There are 180 levels in six packs that grow from small 5 by 5 boards to big 10 by 10 boards. Spark and Glow teach the idea on clean grids. Pulse adds wall blocks that close cells off. Surge introduces bridges, special cells where two lines cross over each other, one going left to right and one going up and down, and both must pass straight through. Aurora and Nova mix walls and bridges on the largest boards. A new pack opens when you have solved twelve levels of the one before, and inside an open pack you can pick any level you like.
Drawing feels natural. Lines snap to the cells, so a shaky thumb never matters. Drag back over your own line to erase it behind you. Drag into another colour's line and you cut it, which makes it easy to try an idea and undo it. When a pair is finished it lights up, a chord note rings, and a pulse runs along the tube. Link all the pairs in a board and the cells flash in a wave and the stars pop in. You earn one star for solving a board, two for solving without hints, and three for a clean solve with very few strokes.
Stuck? A hint draws one correct line for you and locks it in place. Hints cost twenty coins, which you earn by solving levels, and when your coins run short you can watch a short rewarded video for a free hint. Every day there is also a new daily board, the same for every player in the world, with a size that grows from Monday to Sunday and a streak counter for the days you keep up.
Line Links is made for short sessions. A small board takes about a minute and a big one a few minutes, and you can leave at any time because progress is saved after every level. Dots carry a small symbol as well as a colour, so the colours stay easy to tell apart. It works with touch, mouse or keyboard, with arrow keys and the space bar to pick up and move a line. Press P or Escape to pause and M to mute.
How to play
Press a glowing dot and drag to its matching dot to draw a line. Lines snap to the cells and cannot cross: dragging into another colour's line cuts it, and dragging back over your own line erases it. A board is solved when every pair is joined and every cell is filled. Bridge cells let two lines cross over each other, but each line must go straight through. Tap Hint to reveal one correct line (20 coins, or watch a video when you are short). On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys or WASD, pick up and drop a line with Space or Enter, restart with R and hint with H. Pause with P or Escape, mute with M.

FAQ
- Does every board have only one solution?
- Yes. Each board is generated from a full path cover and a solver proves there is exactly one way to complete it, so every board can be solved by logic without guessing.
- What is a bridge cell?
- A bridge is a cell where two lines cross over each other. One line goes left to right and the other goes up and down, and both must pass straight through without turning. Bridges appear from the Surge pack onwards.
- How do hints and coins work?
- You earn coins by solving levels: 5, 8 or 12 depending on your stars, and double on the daily board. A hint costs 20 coins and draws one correct line. If you are short of coins you can watch a rewarded video for a free hint.
- How do I get three stars?
- Solve the board without using a hint and with very few strokes, so that you only lift your finger a little more than once per colour.
- When does the daily board change?
- At midnight UTC. Everyone gets the same board on the same day. Solve it on consecutive days to build a streak.
- Does my progress save?
- Yes. Stars, coins and your daily streak are saved on this device, and to your account when you are signed in.
