Honey Stack A free hexa sort puzzle on a honeycomb

Drop stacks of hexagon tiles onto a honeycomb so matching colours slide together. Ten of a colour pop into a honey jar.

About Honey Stack

Honey Stack is a cosy hexagon sorting puzzle set in a sunny meadow apiary. The board is a honeycomb, and below it a tray offers three little stacks of thin hexagon tiles, each stack banded in two or three colours. Drag a stack onto any empty cell of the comb and watch what happens: every neighbouring stack with the same colour on top flips its tiles across in a bouncy arc, joining up into one taller stack. Those moves can expose new colours underneath, which match other neighbours, and the cascade rolls on by itself, step after step, each one a little higher in pitch than the last.

When ten or more tiles of one colour sit on top of a stack, they pop into a glass jar of honey with a splash. Jars fill the level's goals: some levels just want a few jars of any colour, while later ones ask for jars of particular colours too. Pop two or more jars with a single placement and a bee buzzes in to clear one stuck cell for you, picking honey-glued stacks first, then wooden locks, then the most jumbled stack on the board.

The catch is space. Every stack you place takes a cell, and the comb fills up fast once five or six colours are in play. If the board is full when you still have stacks in the tray, the level is lost, although once per level you can choose to watch an ad and call three bees to clear room and keep going. So every drop is a small decision: which stack, which cell, and which neighbours will it pull together? Placing a one-colour stack next to a mixed one hands its tiles over and frees the cell again, a handy trick when the comb is crowded.

Sixty levels change the comb's shape, add new colours, wooden locks that open when a jar pops next door, and honey glue that freezes a stack until a neighbour pops. Finish a level in few placements to earn up to three stars. Endless mode lets you build jars until glue drips the comb shut, with your best score on the leaderboard, and a fresh daily comb is the same for everyone each day and builds a streak.

Every colour also carries its own pattern mark, so the game stays easy to read for colour-blind players. Honey Stack plays in portrait on phones, works with a mouse or keyboard on a computer, and saves your progress automatically.

How to play

Drag a stack from the tray onto an empty cell of the honeycomb, or tap a stack and then tap a cell. Neighbouring stacks with the same top colour slide together, and the cascade keeps going while new matches appear. Ten tiles of one colour on top of a stack pop into a honey jar. Make the jars the level asks for before the comb fills up. Popping two or more jars in one move sends a bee to clear a stuck cell. Keyboard: 1, 2, 3 pick a stack, the arrow keys move the cursor, and Space or Enter places it. P or Esc pauses, M mutes.

FAQ

Which way do the tiles move?
Tiles always move onto the stack you just placed, gathering every neighbour with the same top colour, in a fixed clockwise order starting at the top. The one exception: if your placed stack is a single colour and only one neighbour matches, your tiles slide onto that neighbour instead, which leaves the cell empty again.
How do I get rid of locks and honey glue?
Pop a jar on a cell next to them. A wooden lock opens and glue melts, and a melted stack can join the cascade right away. Bees from combo pops clear them too.
What happens when the comb is full?
The level ends. Once per level you can watch an ad to call three bees, who clear three cells so you can keep playing. Otherwise just retry in one tap.
Is there a daily puzzle?
Yes. The daily comb has the same board, goals and stacks for every player on a date, and finishing it on consecutive days builds your streak.
Does my progress save?
Yes. Your stars, unlocked levels, endless best and daily streak save on this device, and to your account when you are signed in.
