Mind Sprint Free brain training games in a three-minute daily workout

A three-minute daily workout of six tiny games. Practise memory, maths, focus and logic, and watch your Sprint score trend up over the week.

About Mind Sprint

Mind Sprint is a three-minute daily workout made of six tiny games. Each one lasts about thirty seconds (the two memory games get forty, because they spend time watching), so a full session fits into a coffee break, a bus ride or the gap between lessons. Open the game, tap Daily workout, and you are playing within seconds: a short intro card with a little animation shows what the next game asks for, then the clock starts.

The six games are Memory grid, where tiles flash and you tap them back as the grid grows from three by three to six by six; Quick maths, where you pick the right answer out of three as the sums step up from small additions to times tables and two-step sums; Path memory, where a route lights up across a grid and you trace it from the start dot with a tap or a drag; Colour clash, where a colour word is printed in a different ink and you tap the ink, not the word; Pattern next, where you spot the rule in a row of shapes and pick the one that comes next; and Odd one out, where you find the single icon that is different in a crowded grid.

Every game adapts to you. Two right answers in a row make the next one a little harder, and one wrong answer makes it a little easier, so you always play near the edge of what you can do without the game ever feeling hopeless. Each day's set is built from the date, so everyone gets the same prompts on the same day and you can compare notes with friends. Free play lets you practise any single game for as long as you like, and it remembers the level you reached.

After the sixth game you get your Sprint score out of one thousand and five skill bars: memory, speed, maths, focus and logic. A weekly chart shows the last seven days at a glance, with the change against the week before. Keep a daily streak alive, beat your personal best in each game, and watch the numbers climb. Mind Sprint is a game for practice and fun, and your progress stays on your device or in your account.

Tips: in Memory grid, look at the shape the lit tiles make instead of counting them. In Colour clash, read the word less and name the ink in your head. In Path memory, trace the route with your thumb as it lights up. Pattern next has one rule per row, so check shape, colour and turn one at a time. In Quick maths a wrong answer costs a level, so a calm second is worth more than a rushed tap. Colour clash has a Patterns switch on the home screen that adds a texture to every colour, for players who find colours hard to tell apart. Everything works with touch, mouse or keyboard, and the number keys pick answers.

How to play

Tap Daily workout to play six short mini-games of 30 to 40 seconds in a row. In each one, tap the answer you think is right: the flashed tiles, the right sum, the ink colour, the next shape, the odd icon or the path, traced by tap or drag. Two right answers in a row make the next one harder, a wrong answer makes it easier. On a keyboard, use the number keys to pick answers, and the arrow keys with Space to move over and tap tiles. P or Esc pauses and M mutes.

FAQ

Does my progress save?
Yes. Your streak, personal bests and the last 60 days of Sprint scores are saved on this device, and to your account when you are signed in.
Is the daily workout the same for everyone?
Yes. The prompts depend only on the date in UTC, so everyone gets the same set on the same day, and a new one starts at 00:00 UTC. The difficulty still adapts to how you play.
How is the Sprint score worked out?
Each game gives points for right answers, more at higher levels and a little extra for quick ones. Each game is scaled to 0 to 100, and the Sprint score is ten times the average of the six, so the top is 1000.
What do the skill bars mean?
They are simple summaries of how you did in that workout: memory from Memory grid and Path memory, maths from Quick maths, focus from Colour clash and Odd one out, logic from Pattern next, and speed from the quick answers in several games.
I find some colours hard to tell apart. Can I still play Colour clash?
Yes. The colours were chosen to stay different for the common kinds of colour blindness, and the Patterns switch on the home screen adds a texture to every colour and answer.
Can I replay the daily workout?
Yes. Your day keeps the better of your scores, and the streak counts the first workout of each day.
