About Tile Fusion
A merge puzzle with goals
Tile Fusion is a calm, quick-thinking number puzzle played on a 4×4 reactor plate. Every swipe slides all the glowing cores on the board as far as they can go. When two cores with the same number meet, they fuse into one core worth double: two 8s make a 16, two 16s make a 32, and so on up through the cool teals and violets into hot magenta and solar gold. After every swipe a new small core appears in an empty well, so the board slowly fills, and the run ends when no swipe can change it any more.
What makes Tile Fusion different is the row of goal cards above the board. Each run deals three cards such as Fuse a 64, Two fusions in one swipe or Fuse a 128 in a corner. Finish a card and it pays bonus points plus a spark, and a harder card takes its place. Sparks are your rescue: spend one to vent any core off the board when the grid gets jammed. Chasing a card can pull your board out of shape, so every swipe asks a small question: play it safe, or go for the goal?
Why it's fun
- Swipes answer instantly, with snappy slides, popping fusions and ring bursts.
- Chains reward planning: two fusions in one swipe score ×1.5, three or more score ×2.
- Two free undo tokens per run let you take back a careless swipe.
- A daily run gives everyone the same spawns and goal cards each day, so you can compare scores with friends.
- Finishing goals over many runs unlocks new core palettes: Tidepool, Ember and Aurora.
Runs last a few minutes, the game saves after every swipe, and you can close the tab and pick up the same board later. It works on phones with a swipe, on a computer with the mouse or the arrow keys, and it is fully playable with the sound off.
Tips
- Pick a corner for your biggest core and keep it there. Swiping mostly in two directions keeps it pinned.
- Keep the row next to your big core full so it can't be pushed out of the corner.
- Save sparks for real jams. Venting a small core in the middle often frees a whole line.
- Look at all three goal cards before swiping. A multi-fusion card is easiest right after a spawn lines up pairs.
- Undo restores the board exactly, but the same swipe brings the same new core, so try a different direction.
How to play
Swipe up, down, left or right anywhere on the screen to slide every core on the board. Two cores with the same number that touch fuse into one core worth double, and a new core appears after each swipe. Finish the goal cards at the top for bonus points and sparks. Tap the spark slot and then a core to vent it off the board. On a computer, drag with the mouse, use the arrow keys or WASD, or click the arrows beside the board; Z undoes, V arms a vent (move with the arrows, Enter vents). P or Esc pauses and M mutes. The run ends when no swipe can change the board.

FAQ
- When does a run end?
- When the board is full and no two touching cores match, no swipe can change it. You can still vent a core with a spark, use an undo token, or watch an optional ad for three extra undos before the run ends.
- What are sparks for?
- Each finished goal card pays a spark (harder cards pay two). Tap the spark slot and then any core to vent it off the board. You can hold up to three.
- Does undo cost points?
- No. Undo restores the board and score exactly. You get two undo tokens per run and can hold up to five.
- What is the daily run?
- Once a day everyone gets the same starting board, spawns and goal cards. Your best daily score is kept for that day, and playing seven days in a row earns an achievement.
- Does my progress save?
- Yes. Your best score, palettes and the run in progress are saved after every swipe on this device, and to your account when you're signed in.
