Bubble Burst A free bubble shooter with bank-shot bonuses
Aim, bank off the walls and pop colour groups of three. A shot that bounces first doubles or triples its points.
About Bubble Burst
Bubble Burst is a free online bubble shooter you can play in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. A cluster of glossy coloured bubbles hangs from the top of a tall field. You aim the launcher at the bottom, fire, and the bubble sticks where it touches. Connect three or more of the same colour and they burst; every bubble that was hanging from them falls away for bonus points.
The twist is the wall. A shot that banks off a side wall before it lands doubles everything it pops and drops, and a shot that bounces twice triples it. The dotted aim guide shows your path up to and past the first bounce, so a single bank is easy to line up, while a double bank is a real skill shot. Every turn asks a small question: take the safe straight pop, go for the multiplier, or cut a big group loose from below.
Journey mode has 36 levels across three worlds: Sunlit Pond, Crystal Hollow and Night Orchard. Each level has a goal and a shot limit. Some ask you to clear every bubble, some to reach a score, and some to free trapped fireflies by dropping them. New pieces arrive as you go: bombs that blow up their neighbours, rainbow bubbles that match any colour, frost that needs two pops beside it to thaw, and stones that never pop and can only be dropped. Each level is rated with up to three stars, and stars unlock new launcher trims. After level 6, Endless mode opens: the cluster creeps down a row whenever you miss a few times, colours are added as your score climbs, and you play for the best score on the leaderboard.
Tips: aim under a group's lowest bubble, because popping the bubbles that hold others up drops everything below them for twenty points each. Use the swap button when the next colour fits better, since swapping costs nothing. Line up bank shots in open space at the sides, where the guide shows the bounce. Save easy pops for when the shot counter runs low, and remember that every shot you do not use is worth 100 points at the end of a level. In Endless, pop something often; a pop resets the countdown to the next row.
A Journey level takes one to three minutes and an Endless run lasts as long as you can keep the cluster up. The game loads instantly with no download, works with touch, mouse or keyboard, and saves your stars, best scores and Endless run automatically.
How to play
Pop groups of three or more bubbles of the same colour. On a touch screen, press and drag to aim, then let go to fire; drag back below the launcher to cancel. With a mouse, point to aim and click to fire. On a keyboard, aim with the Left and Right arrows or A and D (hold Shift for fine aim) and fire with Space or Up. Swap the current and next bubble by tapping the small bubble next to the launcher, right-clicking, or pressing Tab, X, S or Down. P or Esc pauses and M mutes.

FAQ
- How do bank shots work?
- A bubble that bounces off a side wall before it sticks multiplies the points of everything it pops and drops: two times after one bounce and three times after two or more. The aim guide shows the path up to the second bounce.
- How does scoring work?
- Each popped bubble is worth 10 points and each dropped bubble 20, more when you drop more than five at once. Bombs add 50, every freed firefly adds 100, and every unused shot is worth 100 when you finish a Journey level. In Endless, clearing the whole field adds 500.
- Which colours will I get?
- The launcher only loads colours that are still on the board, so every bubble you get can make a match. Some levels also hand you rainbow bubbles that take the colour of the first bubble they touch.
- How do I unlock Endless mode and the other worlds?
- Endless opens when you clear Journey level 6. Each world opens when you clear the last level of the world before it.
- What happens when I run out of shots?
- The level ends. Once per attempt you can watch an ad for five extra shots, or simply retry. In Endless you can watch an ad once per run to clear the bottom three rows and keep going.
- Does my progress save, and does it work on iPhone?
- Yes. Stars, best scores and an Endless run in progress are saved on this device, and to your account when you are signed in. Bubble Burst is free and runs in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers.
