Spiral Drop A free ball drop game: turn a spiral tower so the marble falls through
Turn the tower so the bouncing marble drops through the gaps, dodges the striped hazard slices and smashes through floors.
About Spiral Drop
Spiral Drop is a free ball drop game you can play in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. A glowing pearl marble bounces by itself down a tall tower made of spiral ramps, and your only job is to turn the tower. Drag your finger left or right anywhere on the screen, or use the arrow keys or A and D, and the whole tower spins under the marble. Line a gap up beneath it and the marble drops through to the next floor. Miss the gap and it simply bounces again, so you can take a breath and try once more.
Not every slice is safe. Some slices wear a bold striped pattern, and the marble cannot land on those. Touch one and the run ends in a burst of sparks, then you can try again in a single tap. The stripes are a pattern as well as a colour, so the danger is easy to read for everyone, including players with colour blindness. From level six onwards a striped slice also patrols its floor, sliding back and forth, so you have to watch the timing as well as the position.
The twist is the combo smash. Fall through three floors in a row without bouncing and the marble ignites: three pips light up, a flame trails behind it and the words smash ready appear. The next floor it touches shatters into flying pieces instead of bouncing the marble, even if the floor under it is a striped one. Smashing earns a big bonus, but the charge is spent and has to be built again, so the real decision is whether to wait for a safe bounce or to go for the long fall.
Every floor of every tower has a gap you can reach, and level 1 is gentle enough to clear on your first try. After that the gaps narrow, striped slices spread out, towers grow taller and the gaps stop lining up so neatly. Levels never run out: each one is built the same way for every player, and the scenery changes every ten levels through six themes, from Lagoon Dusk to Sun Temple. Clear a level with few bounces to earn up to three stars, and replay any level you have cleared to collect them all.
Tips: you can turn the tower while the marble is in the air, so decide where to land before you fall, not after. Look one floor ahead: the gap you want next matters as much as the one you are aiming for now. When two gaps sit right under each other, drop through both without bouncing and the charge builds on its own. The shadow under the marble shows exactly which slice it will land on. Short, quick drags are more precise than one long swipe.

How to play
Drag left or right anywhere on the screen to turn the tower (or press the arrow keys, or A and D). The marble bounces on its own. Line a gap up under it and it drops to the next floor. Never land on a slice with the red stripes: that ends the run. Fall through three floors in a row without bouncing and the marble ignites, so the next floor it touches smashes, even a striped one. Land on the golden ring at the bottom to clear the level. Clear levels quickly, with few bounces, to earn up to three stars. Press P or Esc to pause and M to mute.

FAQ
- How do I control Spiral Drop?
- You turn the tower, not the marble. Drag left or right anywhere on the screen with your finger or mouse, or press the left and right arrow keys, or A and D. The marble bounces by itself.
- What are the striped slices?
- Striped slices are hazards. If the marble lands on one the run ends and you can try the level again at once. Moving hazards appear from level 6. Charged marbles can smash through them.
- What is the combo smash?
- Fall through three floors in a row without bouncing and the marble ignites. The next floor it touches shatters instead of bouncing the marble, whatever slice is under it, and you score a 100 point bonus. The charge is then used up.
- How do I earn stars?
- Stars depend on bounces: the fewer times the marble bounces per floor, the more stars you get, up to three. Clear a level again any time to improve its stars.
- Does the game save my progress?
- Yes. Your cleared levels, stars and best score are saved on this device, and to your account when you are signed in.
- Can I play it on a phone?
- Yes. It is built for one-thumb play on phones and tablets in portrait, and also works with a mouse or keyboard on a computer.
- Do the levels ever end?
- No. Levels are generated endlessly, each one the same for every player, and the look of the tower changes every ten levels.
