About Style Studio
Style Studio is a free dress up game you can play in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You get a model, a wardrobe and a theme such as Beach Day, Tea Party or Space Gala, and your job is to put together the look that fits. Pick hair, a hat, a top and bottoms or a dress, shoes, glasses, a scarf, a bag or a pair of wings, dye every piece in the colour you like, and watch the model change with every tap. When you are happy, press Judge and three friendly judges look at your outfit.
Each judge cares about something different. Sunny scores theme fit: do the pieces suit the vibe of the challenge? Mira scores colour harmony: do your colours sit nicely together, as one shade, neighbours on the colour wheel, a complementary pair or a playful trio? Rex scores boldness: how much of a statement does the look make, from a quiet classic to a showstopper? Every judge gives a short, kind reason, like "Love the sunhat!", so you always know what to swap next. Your three scores add up to a total out of one hundred and one to three stars.
There are sixty themed challenges in six packs: Sunny Days, Campus & City, Cold & Cosy, Party Time, Wild Adventures and Magic & Stars. The early ones are easy to win. Later ones narrow the vibe, name styles that clash, ask for a colour mood such as warm, cool or soft, and set a tighter window for how bold the look should be. Stars unlock the next challenge, and coins earned from every judging unlock new clothes. There are over two hundred and fifty wardrobe items to collect, from hoodies and raincoats to ball gowns, top hats, space helmets, fairy wings and capes. Prefer to play without a theme? Free style lets you wear anything and rewards a look that hangs together. Save your favourites to the lookbook and wear them again later.
Style Studio is made for everyone. Choose from five body shapes, eight skin tones and twelve hairstyles, from pixie cuts and braids to afro puffs and curls, in natural and fun colours. Every piece fits every model, and the judges only ever talk about the clothes. The game is kid friendly, needs no reading beyond a few words, works with touch, mouse or keyboard, and saves your coins, stars and lookbook on your device.
Tips: read the vibe chips on the theme card, since they name the styles the judges like. Tap a piece again to take it off, and tap a colour dot to dye it. Keep to two or three colours that belong together, add a pattern or an accessory to turn up the boldness, and use the Me tab to try your look on every body shape. Come back each day for a daily coin bonus that grows with your streak.
How to play
Pick a challenge, then dress your model. Tap a tab (Tops, Bottoms, Dresses, Shoes, Hair, Hats, Glasses, Neck, Carry, Back, Me), tap a style to try it on, tap it again to take it off, and tap a colour dot to dye it. Locked styles cost coins. The theme card shows the vibe the judges want. Press Judge: Sunny scores theme fit, Mira colour harmony and Rex boldness. Earn a star to unlock the next challenge. On a keyboard use the arrow keys, Q and E for tabs, and Enter to judge. P or Esc pauses, M mutes.

- Yes. It is free and runs in the browser on Android phones, iPhones, tablets and computers, with nothing to download.
- How do the judges score my outfit?
- Sunny scores how well your pieces fit the theme, Mira scores how well your colours go together, and Rex scores how bold the look is compared with what the theme asks for. Each gives a score out of 10 and a short reason, and the total is out of 100.
- How do I earn stars and unlock the next challenge?
- Score 45 or more on the first challenge for one star, 66 for two and 82 for three. The targets rise slowly as you go. One star on a challenge unlocks the next one.
- What are coins for?
- Coins unlock new clothing styles in the wardrobe, and every style comes in several colours. You earn coins from every judging, extra coins for each new star, and a daily bonus that grows with your streak. You can also watch an ad to double the coins from a result.
- Do all the clothes fit every model?
- Yes. There are five body shapes, eight skin tones and twelve hairstyles, and every piece fits every one of them. Use the Me tab to switch.
- Is my progress saved?
- Yes. Your coins, unlocked clothes, stars, lookbook and daily streak are saved on this device, and to your account when you are signed in.
