About Drift Circuit
Drift Circuit is a top-down racing game about one thing: the perfect drift. Your little toy car always has its foot down, so you only steer. Hold a turn at speed and the tail swings out. The longer and wider you slide, the more points you score and the more your boost bar fills. Straighten up cleanly and the whole bar fires as a slingshot that throws you past your rivals. Touch a wall mid-slide and the charge is gone.
Eight sunny circuits
The Grand tour runs across eight tracks, each with its own look: Harbour Loop, Pine Switchbacks, Dune Hairpins, Night Docks, Snowline, Canyon Esses, Lagoon Causeway and Summit Ring. A podium finish unlocks the next track. Early circuits are wide and forgiving. Later ones are tighter, the rivals are quicker, and you will need chained drifts and well-timed boosts to finish at the front.
Three rivals with personalities
Rook brakes early and rarely makes a mistake. Vixen drifts everything and swings wide. Bolt brakes late and sometimes pays for it at the barrier. Learn how each of them drives and pick the side you pass them on.
Race your ghost
Your best lap on every track is saved and replayed as a translucent ghost car. Beat it by a second and it earns an achievement. In Time trial you race the ghost alone, with nothing in the way but your own line.
Daily circuit
Every day brings one track for everyone, forward or reversed, sometimes wet and sometimes at dusk. Post your best three-lap time on the daily leaderboard and come back tomorrow for a new one.
Stars and the garage
Each track has three stars: finish on the podium, win, and beat the gold lap time. Stars unlock six toy cars in the garage. Each trades a little top speed against grip, so you can pick the car that suits your driving.
Races take about two minutes, so it is easy to play one more. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with touch, mouse or keyboard.
How to play
- Steer: hold the left or right half of the screen (or the left mouse button there). On a keyboard, use Left/Right or A/D.
- Brake: hold both halves at once, or press Down/S.
- Drift: steer hard at speed and the car slides. Keep holding to keep sliding and fill the boost bar.
- Slingshot: let go (or steer the other way) to straighten up. A clean exit fires your boost automatically.
- Boost button: fire a stored boost yourself once the bar is at least 30% full (Space, Up/W or right mouse button).
- Chains: start a new drift within a second of the last one to raise the multiplier up to ×5.
- Pause with the pause button, P or Esc. Mute with the speaker button or M.

FAQ
- How do I drift?
- Hold a turn while you are going fast. When the tail swings out the car is drifting: keep holding to keep the slide and charge the boost bar, then let go to straighten up.
- Why did my boost not fire?
- A slingshot only fires on a clean exit: you must straighten up within a short moment after letting go, and the bar must be at least 30% full. Hitting a wall during the drift empties the bar.
- How do I unlock more tracks?
- Finish on the podium (first, second or third) in the Grand tour, and the next track opens.
- How do I unlock new cars?
- Cars in the garage unlock with your total number of stars. Each track has three: a podium, a win, and a lap faster than its gold time.
- What is the ghost?
- A see-through replay of your best lap on that track. Race against it in any race or alone in Time trial.
- Does my progress save?
- Yes. Stars, unlocks, best times and ghosts are saved on this device, and to your account when you are signed in.
